Default Experiencing very slow upload speed

I am using bsnl UL1350+ plan. When i do the speed test i dont get more than 36kBps upload speed..but my downloading is working fine around 55-50kBps..
I also tried port forwarding but that too doesnt work.
What other changes should i do to increase the UPLOAD speed.?

its so because its an unlmiited plan ...
for limited plans the speeds are good..
sorry but by default only this is achievable..

36 KBps is quite normal speed for your plan. Upload speeds are normally half of download speed. If you get the speed as shown in speed test, there is no scope for improvement.
