    It seems the speed has gone up. In my UL 750, I am getting 2 Mbps speed.

    Really something is going on. As a 500C user I get around 200 kB but a 256 kb user it is unbelievable.

    i hate to spoil the fun, but in the original thread it was also mentioned that download won't be included in your limit , so possibly it has a separate high speed access to that particular file.

    Can you verify that it works with all downloads ?

    Try to Download from another site and cheak the speed not from the BSNL.

    now If ul750 get 2mbps I should be getting 4mbps.

    but I am not getting it.

    Np seems to be right. It is only for this file. I got maximum speed and downloaded it in about 10 minutes. Then I checked speed test, torrents and download from Microsoft. All at 256 Kbps. I think it is related to this particular file Self care software. Anybody else tried ? Amal, please check from your side.

    My exchange is Kormangala, my plan is 500C+ and usually I get 170-190 KBps while downloading. Lucky huh...

    use the direct link...you can remove the http and replace it with "hxxp".

    I think ur plan got changed to 500C , because ur upload speed seems very less.:innocent:

    It's Home UL 750 all right, but speeds back to square one (normal of course).
