    Default Resolving host - Please help

    I tried the self care software, it got waiting infinitely during the " connection stage ". So I had to cancel the process. Now it takes a very large time to load the pages. It stays in " Resolving host " for a pretty good time. It is the same for Chrome and Firefox. Please help me out.

    • Try to install again in Safe Mode this time. If that didn't work, check if there is remove/roll back/repair option in the setup/installer.
    • Check and make sure the DNS and other settings is not changed in connection properties (Internet Protocol TCP/IP).
    PS. You have disabled System Restore service. Right ?

    I have no use for that software. Just thought of trying.

    Will try Open DNS. Now uploading the Self care software. Will restart as soon as I finish it.

    The problem might be the result of stopping the installation in the middle. If you are able to install the software successfully, then you can remove it afterwards. That should reverse the changes made by the software and fix the problem.

    see this;
    http://i26.tinypic.com/2wp8lso.jpg

    That a Trojan warning was given by an Antivirus program
    is essential information about this application.
    New users must be made aware of this, and
    use the application at their
    own risk. No question of frightening!

    You had also reported TROJAN by AVIRA. in this software.
    You disable AVIRA AV and try again.

    I think that the program has changed your tcp/ipv4 settings of your LAN. Check it and do the proper settings. It should resolve your problem.
