i know u can connect 2 modems to a line
    Not possible.
    connect one to Ut300r2U.
    connect another to type2 modem.
mention modem model details of type 2. ( do not enable wireless )
    Avoid SMS language.

In a single modem you can enter settings for DIFFERENT isps.
But only one connection at a time can be used.
    example bsnl vpi/vci 0 and 35 airtel 1 and 32 etc.

Phone Jn 1 ISP 1 ==>> ADSL splitter ==>> modem port Ut 300r2u
    Phone Jn 2 ISP1 or 2===>> ADSL splitter 2 ==>>. modem port == WA3002_g1 or g4

Program either modem for Two DIFFERENT isps.
Change only Rj11 to Phone Port ( Junction )

i have just 1 dataone account nd 1 phone junction.so cant i connect with the help of two splitters to two different modems.since each splitter has a line and adsl slots, cant i connect two modems wid help of these two splitters!!!
i.e.splitter1 line goes to splitter 2 line and then to the phone and the adsl slots in both splitters to the modem!!!!

you just need to take a seperate connection(and attach another splitter to it ) from the main point ( the junction where the line reaches your house , before splitter 1 )

    see this.
    Modem GETS DIRECT CONNECTION.

    Attachment 5600

The ADSL splitter blocks BB data entering the phone, and
    avoids attenuation of the signal.
Modem RJ11 is ALWAYS connected to Phone Junction.
whether a splitter is used or not.

For each extension Phone in different room
use seperate ADSL splitter for the phone.
ONLY One modem will work for a SINGLE telephone line at a time.
Whether phone is used or not , better to have one phone
    connected.

I think you don't need two splitters because splitters are used to reduce noise for telephone instruments. Even without using splitter one can use modem but not telephone. Therefore from wall point connect to splitter. Then from splitter divide line into two lines just by using simple divider.

Simple dividers can be purchased from any electrical shop. Just ask them. The splitters we use for broadband usually are with modem and not available in all electrical shops. It can be called 'Dual Modular Phone Splitter Jack Adapter Divider Line 2 Way'

[/i have another phone extension in my room.
will i be able to connect my other modem
    to it using splitter??
    MAIN PHONE JUnction room 1 adsl splitter1 == modem 1 system 1
Extension Phone Port room No 2 adsl splitter 3 ==modem 2 system 2
Only one will work at a time.
Disconnect the RJ11 going to either modem. or switch off power .
    Para two :
are u sure it'll work using dividers???
By this time you should have tried it and given the result.
Not many have two modems to test. on same Phone line.
Your feedback will be valuable information.

    My set up:
My ISP: I use in my room1 with
    adsl splitter + modem 1. ( beetel 110BX1 laptop )
    IN Another room2 50 feet away ,
    a parallel Rj11 line is given .
Another modem system in use there.
( NO adsl splitter) ( Huawei AX MT 882 laptop )
ONLY ONE System can be used at a time.
    I control the rj11 extension.
I connect Modem Port RJ11 to the extension.
I use my phones as usual.

    PLease read carefully my post.
I had mentioned another Rj11 line . ( not the phone line )
Different to the phone extension already available in room 2.

ALL PHONES MUST be CONNECTED AFTER the ADSL phone port
or if this is not possible use additional ADSL splitter for EACH PHONE in different
    rooms.

No more posts by me in this thread.
