Thread: download problem

my speed is around 512 kbps....my problem is tht when i open two or three websites simultaneously or for tht matter i open videos...or download files....my I-NET link in the modem disconnects n reconnects after some time....due to this im not able to download direct downloadable files like rapidshare as thy cant be stopped in b/w downloading...and need 2 be downloaded in a strech...im not even able to watch videos...ive complained to BSNL so many times, but thy say everythngs perfect...pls help me in ths regard......

modem make is DNA-A211-I

my snr margin downstream is around 19.8 and upstream is 15.5......

try tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net and
tweak your computer settings as recommended.

a software update also available for dna A211-I
from sem india. ( do it at your Own risk !)
Whether this will improve performance not known.

Disable other applications
when watching video or downloading from RS.
