Thread: BSNL provides wrong settings

The Huawei Smart AX MT882 and WA1003A modem do not connect to the internet if these settings are applied......

are you sure ! you could have elaborated it .
what changes are required in settings ...

I donno what changes are to be made...

The diagram says that ADSL Modulation should be changes to G.Dmt whereas when i log on to http://192.168.1.1 the currrent setting of ADSL Modulation is ADSL2+

Now, what is G.Dmt and why should i change ADSL2+ to G.Dmt

^ G.dmt modulation can deliver high-speed data communications at
rates up to 8 Mbps on the downstream, 864 Kbps on the upstream.
G.DMT [full-rate ADSL] expands the useable bandwidth of existing
copper telephone lines .
This method is supposed to be implemented by BSNL ;
And it is not yet available ...

So, Why the've posted it there if it won't work?

even if we select G.DMT in the modem , it should not affect
the functioning of the modem . I just checked it on MT880 .

I'll try it....

I tried n it's working on g.dmt but wats d use of selecting wan type as ppp? etc.
