    Default net sharing

    I have Bsnl Broadband connection with SmartAx Mt841 modem. it has 4 ethernet ports and 1 usb port.I want to use my net connection simultaneously on my laptop and desktop both running on WinXP.what will i do????
    someone please help

    You must configure the modem in PPPoE mode. In this mode, the username and password is stored inside the modem and modem connects automatically as soon as it is switched on. There is no need of a dialer application in Windows.

    @tupai
    Type III MT841 supplied without wireless LAN card .
    It may not be possible to use your Laptop in WIFI mode,
    without any (wire connection )
    RJ45 to laptop in any place in your house.

    Feedback for post 2 and post 3 please.
