Hi i have recently taken on bsnl plan 750+.from that time onwards my download speed using idm is nearly 14-20kbps thats it.i cant even get a good speed in torrents also.is this a problem please explain.

User at UL 750 plan should get 28KBps Downlod speed.
You say you get maxium 20KBps.
Cheak the download speed again.
In your router set the modulation to G.DMT.
If you have C2110 router then leave the modulation default.

The maximum speed in 750 UL plan is 32 kB/s. You cannot increase the speed by any means. If you a higher speed then you could move to 500 C plan.

If you are in PPPoE mode, make sure the Bit-torrent client is port-forwarded.

you have to go for a better plan hats the only solution....
opt for 500c....cheaper good combo...
+ wat you download in a whole dat with 750UL you can download more than that during night unlimited in 500c...coz using torrents you will get 225Kbs+ from 2-8 am i.e 6 hrs
