Default Problem with wireless password

Hi,

I use a BSNL 256kbps connection at home with my own Dlink modem (not the BSNL Huweii modem). I also got a Linksys wireless router (WRT54G) from the US and set up a wireless connection... which works fine.

I have enabled WEP, but the problem is that every 2 days or so, the password gets disabled and the connection becomes open to all. Then I have to redo the process to make the connection secure.

Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong or what I can do so that the WEP remains permanent and doesn't keep disabling itself?

Thanks

Download and upgrade to the latest firmware. This sometimes helps. Post your results.

try custom firwares for your router!!as linksys is known to hav buggy firmwares!!google for "dd-wrt" or "tomato firmware"(im using this currently and just love the addtional features)
