Modem needed to be restarted at 2.05 am and 7.55 am to get the night unlimited usage.

Night traffic congestion, causes all the problems. how ever one may get around 180 to 200Kbps ( not KBps) diring night times. As it is free, the upper( up to 2Mbps) may not be expected during nights.

    perhaps a premonition or Joke.
i don't feel all members have right to remove contents of other's posts !!! I am a former BSNL officer and i have the habit of criticizing BSNL internally for the cause of Customer. thus many BSNL lovers would be interested in its welfare by serving and gaining popularity , and not by cleaning the critical comments--
I am of the firm opinion, that such comments, however harsh, have some problem reporting and would help an organization to improve their service quality by using these comments as feedback

A small correction. Switch Off and On the modem at these times. If you do not reboot, BSNL may not recognize that the start and end times.

On newer 117 IP, I have personally tested several times that the session is reset at 30 min interval if there is a change from charged time to free time and vice versa. i.e. if a person had logged in at 12.55 AM download till 2.25 AM is charged and a new session is registered from 2.25 which is free. Similarly, if log-in is done at 7.40 AM, a free session is registered till 8.10 and a new charged session is logged from 8.10 AM. Many other users also confirmed the same thing.

However, to be on the safe side, it is always advisable to restart at 2.05 AM and 7.55 AM.
