How i can configure UT STARCOM 300R2U in PPPoE mode. Pls help me i need it urgently & also how i share the connection through NETGEAR switch over 6 computers...........

Enable DHCP in modem. 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.20 .

After confirming Internet connection is ok
remove the Rj45 from computer end and
connect to switch input port.
Take rj45 cables to different computers.

Zip contains manual method of configuring PPPOE in UT 300 R2U modem.

contains instructions with screenshots.

This is posted in response to the thread starter.

google "Using BSNL UT300R2U Modem for Dual Connection" and you will get a page from associated content, which will provide you with the detailed information...

configure Modem in "Always On" mode and enable DHCP.
Check with one computer. Then transfer the Rj45 from computer end to
Input port of switch.
Connect all computers to the switch.

In all computers:
Start /Network/LAN /Properties
Network settings
Select TCP/IP
Properties
Select
Obtain Ip address automatically
Apply Save.
