Question quick question on remote desktop...

I use the bsnl dna-a211-i type 2 router... i usually control my PC from my laptop (using remote desktop) and the laptop is connected to the router via wi-fi..

now... this may sound like a veryyy stupid question, but i just thought i could clarify

while using the remote desktop service, the no of bytes transfered in the internet connection (from the lan connection icon on your system tray) keeps running rapidly! I know that this usually runs when you keep browsing.. but its the same for remote desktop as well... so does this mean im using up internet usage hours by using such a connection?
    kindly clarify.. thanks!

No data will added to your BSNL account. Because the data transfer from your Desktop to Laptop or Laptop to Desktop while using Remote Desktop.

That's correct. Unless you browse Internet while in the Remote Desktop, your Internet usage hours will remain intact.
