Default Is It True That Opting For BSNL IPTV Will Increase Broadband Bandwidth To 8mbps?

    Hey guys,
What i have heard that if we opt for BSNL IPTV i.e. cable tv from bsnl telephone line / through internet modem, they will remove port binding (speed caping) of our internet and will move it upto 8mbps as IPTV needs 8mbps of data connection. Is it true? Then i would opt for iptv just to increase the speed of my net.

    Please clarify?
    Regards,
    Vishal

As per some of the actual users, the speed would be higher only for the IPTV server. For other URLs the speed cap would remain.

Yeah i was planning to go for IPTV only to get 8 mb of download speed. But after hearing a feedback from IPTV user only, who said that there is no change in speed of net, i dropped my plan to go for IPTV. However request others to verify this thing.

How do you think you will get 8Mbps if you apply for IP TV. Only change you can see that If you current see the 2048Kbps download rate in your Router GUI web pages this will change to 8Mbps or more.

IP TV , Perhaps doesn't need more than 384 or 512Kbps. At any time you use one channel only. pleasae see this old link
