Thread: Help Can't acess the modem settings !

hello, my plan is 750+ UL for which i had to fight with lineman & jto for 1 year :52: and succeed in getting it in last month , everything is fine for 1 month then trouble started , it disconnects automatically and cannot access the modem settings , it shows connection reset pls can any one help my modem number is UT300R2U

The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL

Then reset the modem with power on for 20 to 30 seconds
( switch access point ) in rear of unit.
Factory defaults

Open modem 192.168.1.1 admin admin
Select 0 and 35
select "Bridged"
Save reboot.
in computer use dialer.
If all OK
again access modem settings.
Try whatever changes you need to make.

(for XP os)start->control panel->network connections->LAN->properties->set ip as 192.168.1.100->sub mask as 255.255.255.0->def gateway 192.168.1.1-> dns 218.248.240.208 and 218.248.255.193.

for disconnection- remove ur parallel conections of phone(which r not connected after splitter)
