Your current plan will be there for the month of Sep, the plan change takes place on the 1st of every month, it depends upon bsnl when then get it done so always check whethet your plan has been provisioned to you or not.

As far as we know, plan change happens in first week of every month. Even if you change the plan on 20 th of Sept. For 1st 20 days you will be charged as per first plan. Say you have 1.5 GB limit in you first plan, you will get 20/30 X 1.5 GB. Anything extra will be charged even if you shift to an unlimited plan. For next ten days similar charges will apply as per new plan. BSNL plan change is tricky with hidden charges. Please go through

BSNL do not change the plan on first as many presume. It normally happens in the first week. In some cases, plan change happens on 1st if applied well in advance.

Default It does happen in first week

I changed the plan. Gave application on 18th. Checked the speed on 2nd of next month. Still not changed. A call to the CC was not helpful, they told its already changed. But, the portal and speeds showed that its still on old plan.

Four days later the plan was effective. So, In my case it happened in the first week.

and never believe the CC, the poeple who talk on the phones.
