Thread: BSNL Tariffs..

Hey everybody...

I'm a very old user of airtel broadband , using it from 2005 and i'm quite satisfied with their service and assistance...

Plan i'm using is of 1089 rupees...and now days , just because of the down turn , i can't afford to pay this much of amount...

But i don't want to sacrifice with the speed...

I'm getting 512 kbps for 1300 rupees..

I want this to be settled in 900 , is it is possible ??

I mean if it would be ok , to switch to BSNL broadband ??

Last night , when i was looking for the tarrifs of BSNL , i got nothing , but just old list of plans on their official website...

From where i can get the proper information about the tariff of BSNL broadband...??

Which plan would be better for me , i want the download speed to be around 40 to 70 kbps...

Help would be highly appreciated !

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

BSNL has 2 unlimited plans 256 Kbps for Rs. 750 + tax and 512 for Rs. 1350 + tax.

You can choose either Home 500, 500 C or 500 C +. They are limited plans but speed is as high as 2 Mbps.

Talk with local exchange for customer care no.

Call 1500 and ask them for the local broadband service number they should be able to help you.

what the hell... Now Airtel is providing 512 Kbps at 1099 Rs. You may have to change your old plan. You dont have to pay 1350 for 512 kbps. BSNL hasnt changed their tariffs yet, I wish they too bring down their prices.

All of us are waiting for new plans. Hope we will get on Diwali.

Indeed Airtel is cheaper at this point. But there are two major drawback on Airtel:

a) Airtel BB connection is not available as easily as BSNL.
b) Airtel has "Fair Usage Policy".

With BSNL, there is an option to pay for the entire year. You pay Rs. 13,500/- (UL1350 / UL1350+) and thus get a discount for two months. Same discount is available on UL750 / UL750+ also.
