Till now I had made total 6 calls, the person on phone always tells me the same....
She told me that, there is some line problem .........
But my phone is working correctly....( no noise at all at call time)
Yesterday she told me to wait for another week......:52:

We can do nothing but wait. A personal visit to the exchange may be of some good.

For broadband it usually takes a weeks time though frequent followups may help you to get it sooner.

Ya thats true for broadband they require some infrastructure and there should be a free port available at exchange which can be allotted to you.

We can understand in remote areas or the exchange which dont have the needed infrastructure will take time to upgrade it and make a connection feasible.

I got the LL and BB in just 10 after applied. It all depends on the line men and the workers. Try contacting them, give them 50bucks and your work will be done in 2 days. For me no probs cause line man was my friend.
This is India people.. Our systems are run by the attenders and line men... not by the officials

Not necessarily. It depends upon the availability of CPE and ports at the Exchange. There are lots of new exchanges that have come up in metros and tier 1/2 cities, especially in the fringe/outskirts. It is much easier to get a BB connection in such an exchange.

Finally gave bsnl a call yesterday & they said my bb is approved, so I went to the office, got modem. But I'm not able to connect to bb...
Even my outgoing is off.... Internet is giving connection error....
So I contacted bsnl bb complaint service, it said I'm not bb user....
Office worker said as I self installing modem, they will not support me...
I called a private installer, the installation charges is 150/-....
The same man installs modem for bsnl....
& We have to pay them 250/- if we take installation from bsnl strange na!

Happy that the issue is fixed. If you are not confident always opt for a technician.

    I'm confident about myself...
But I have to confess that I had done two mistakes...
    1) I had entered wrong password.
    2) I had never rebooted modem.
Hope people will learn from my mistakes....
