    Default how can i share my current connection with my laptop and pc

    Right now i am using Bsnl Broad band unlimited plan with type 2 modem.
    i have a laptop and pc, how can i connect these to with my modem to access net from pc and laptop.

    REFERENCE
    For settings for WIFI routers ( BSNL mostly)
    see this link :add to bookmarks if found relevant.

    Hints:
    a)Try in PPP/PPPoE "Always On" mode Not " dialer bridged"

    b)select obtain Ip address automatically in TCP/IP properties.

    c) Enable DHCP in router

    Procedures
    1.the Chennai link with screen shots .
    Probably your unit is siemens sl2 _141
    and modem pages can be same.

    2.
    Usual way, your desktop will be connected to LAN1.
    Laptop ethernet port can be also connected to Lan2 and tested.

    3.Then try
    Laptop on WIFI mode.
    in your LAPTOP
    Start All programs/accessories/
    communications
    Wireless network wizard.
    Follow Instructions.

    Wifi icon may/can appear in Taskbar.
    Click and select
    "view available Wireless networks "
    Any other WIFI network if it appears
    your settings are ok
    If none appears , you can
    check same way for your wifi .
    ( say chandra) after setting wireless mode
    in your router.

    Try without security Key.
    if OK enter WPA security key.

    (e)Any problem :
    Post these data
    START RUN type cmd OK
    New window.
    type ipconfig /all
    copy/paste data here.
