Default Should this be the settings for modem in Bridge mode?

I have the Siemens SL2 141 type II modem from BSNL .. presently I am using it in Bridge mode .. I was using it in PPPOE but presently it is used in bridge mode,as a result of which I have changed some settings .. Please suggest whether they are unnecessary or not required ..

1)DHCP was previously enabled when in PPPOE mode .. presently disabled.
2)When in PPPOE mode I put a WPA-PSK key in it for access to WiFi .. I haven't changed it .. please tell whether keeping the modem secured also when in bridge mode a better idea?

Any other which I may have overlooked? Please mention ..

No issues if you face any Limited connectivity issue then you can enable DHCP.

Whether it is PPPoE or Bridge, always have have the wireless security options in place to prevent misuse of your wireless network.

when In wifi Mode
check" View available Wireless networks"
secured/unsecured. If you find any with
good signal strength, yours can also be seen by others.

To get connected to your WIFI network,
your Security key is needed. Assuming
somehow someone else is using your internet connection, only way to confirm is checking your usage at BSNL portal.
Also see the WIFI unit range is limited ,
by decreasing the height/location, just for your own use.
Usual Range a radius of about 50 feet
(*conditions apply! )

Dialer Mode is preferred for a single laptop use.
