    Default cant open 192.168.1.1

    previously i had UT300R2U , now i took WA3002G4 modem from my friend which is not using anymore .. i want to establish wireless connection , but am unable to access 192.168.1.1

    plz help me in configuring !

    u r surely in bridge mode and getting this error.......

    and there should be a message showing "Limited or No Connectivity"
    refer to the link to solve it and then when the message disapper u can access 192.168.1.1

    try with 192.168.1.254
    In your Local Area Connection set Obtain Ip address automatically
    Then go to command Promt and type IPCONFIG
    Look at the gateway. This gateway is for your router's IP address. Try to open your Router GUI web page with this IP.

    Before all you do this first try to ping the IP 192.168.1.1

    If nothing helps, just reset the router...

    you may try to ping the address to see if response is ok.

    go to run>cmd>ipconfig copy the address in default gateway.
    o to internet exploer and write that address hit enter..put id, password as 'admin' & 'admin' and u can configure it now...

    u don't have to put 192.168.1.1 always, u have to simply put your default gateway in ur browser's address...

    ( a small round hole . Use a ball pen refill to access the micro switch
    with power on for about 20 or 30 seconds )
