Default beetel 450 tc1 router default password needed

i had recently reset my beetel 450 tc1 router by pressing the button at the back and by going to 192.168.1.1 and resetting it.

But now when i am trying to find the wireless network, it shows the router's default name as airtel and is not accepting 1234, admin, administrator, password or (blank/nothing) as the default paddword.

    anyone's help will be appreciated.

    thanks and regards

when I open 19.168.1.1 there VPI/VCI is mentioned as 0/32. I had tried to change it to 0/35 but it shows message that it cannot be updated as it's duplicate. also, although I have set modem in PPPoe/oa configuration still I have to enter USERNAME and PASSWORD to surf internet

what settings I have to give in my laptop( wifi card/lan card).?
    ,
In your computer ( Presume you are on PPP/PPPoE mode )
in Network setttings( if you had selected DHCP enabled in modem/router)
select Ip address automatically under TCP/IP option.
DNS also automatic or these entries.
    8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 google dns
    or
    208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 Open dns
    Apply SAVE.
( also same dns entered in modem/router menu page )

Check WA3001-g1 in Calcutta Telephones web site- ( 220BXI also link below )

I am also unable to login in to router when I type 192.168.1.1 to configure my router. Can some one please let me know what should I do now. Till now I have not reset my router. The problem is that no default login id and password is working for it and I dont want to reset in fear of further messing up with the things.
    Best Regards

    VPI/VCI for BSNL is 0 and 35.
If it says Duplicate entry check values for Virtual circuit 0 to 8 ( 8 links usually mode in "Bridged" ) and delete the duplicate entry.

    see this guide.
    http://mtnlmumbai.in/triband/htm/utstar_wireless_II.pdf

List VPI/VCI entries for virtual circuits VPI0 to say VPI 7.
Then select VPI ( FROM ABOVE ) having 0 AND 35.

    How to delete all VPI/VCI?

There are 7 Virtual circuits PVC0 to PVC7. By default it takes PVC0 - It is configured for Airtel. I just tried to change the values in VPI/VCI but no joy. Tried resetting the modem by holding the Reset button for abt 20 sec on the rear of the router but no use. Is there any software to completly format the router settings?

    did you download the manual?
    http://mtnlmumbai.in/triband/htm/utstar_wireless_II.pdf
After selecting any VPI with 0 and 35
Save Reboot as outlined in MTNL manual.

If you can delete/make entries , you can save them also.
Are you getting connected to BSNL in Dialer mode ?
    Did you try ?

    @kirmut

I have done settings on Beetel110TCI ( same as Beetel450TCI less wifi).

The trick was to select the PVC which has 0 and 35 as default.
    it is usually PVC2..
( some modems allow you to delete the default links max 8 , configured for "bridged" mode default ).and enter fresh values.

Will post screen shot of connection status later , if needed.

Please mention which FW version you upgraded. one version( by AIRTEL) listed in my signature link 220BX.

    1. Press button 'summary' by the side of pvc0. You get what each pvc is preconfigured. set pvc window to that pvc. (probably one that has 0-35 without ppoe).

    2. you get pvc setup with 0-35 and down in the selections select ppoe/ppoa(probably default setting to bridge etc)

Now try select default gateway, ip , no multiply etc and set you username and password(default might be 'password') as per BSNL allocation...

    wish you GoodLuck......

I remember advising some member to use the SSID mngmr ( or something like that) and use the key 987654321 etc. .
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...tml#post331727

There are two ssid key selection possible. Key No 1 as above.
Another Key ssid No2. you can set with own SSID name/ key etc.
    3.
I have the NON wifi version of the model.
Downgrading the FW to earlier version has solved the problem for some user.
Check FW versions in my sig link 220BX.
( CAS: conditional access system for IPTV ?)

If I go for key no 2 everything is locked, thats what u mentioned as mgmnt something. there is a default key for that and we cannot change it. Please help me

And I dont know how to visit ur 220Bx link. please send me the link. Oh the link you have given is from Airtel. But beetel doesnot give any of its firmwares over the net? what a negligence about customers? But any reason why megaupload?

Hey i am unable to post the link here. sorry. Its not allowing me to post the link

    Default Problem solved

I think you haven't read through my post properly. The steps you mentioned are known to me. But problem was that I couldnot change anything in your step No. 4 and because of that I cannot do further 2 steps mentioned by you. Actually earlier I had configured wireless router with some other make than beetel 450tc1, so these were known. But my problem was that entries where I should set proper values were disabled there by making it unusable for wireless. But anyhow right now it is solved by updating (in fact it was downgrading rather than an upgrade thats why I said update) firmware by an older version. Anyhow thanks for your help.

Just I have forgotten to check your choice of Authentication type...Anyway, please check CWMP in your modem is disabled.

TM4-0Q-020-20100628(with-without CAS) is probbly the reliable firmware for BSNL applications.

Anyway, happy that your wireless is on....Congrats...!

    @imfootloose
At least you could have mentioned the present FW version.
    Post Status connection info for PVC0 or PVC2 vpi/vci 0 and 35.
Save as screen shot and upload here as attachment.

In such a big thread with 53 posts, just asking for FW upgrade, without mentioning the problem you faced or the present FW in use is not helpful.

Usually in this modem if a wrong file is loaded ( usually *.ras accepted )
or a corrupt file is loaded , you get a failure message.
    Post details.

Authentication type is disabled at WPA2 Enterprise and asks usrname and password and I cannot connect to WIFI. LAN is working and I can browse internet. Current Firmware I use is TM4-0Q-025. I was refering to earlier post and found downgrade is the solution. Downloaded the firmware Beetel4-0Q-016 from Megaupload

    TM4-0Q-025.
    OPTION 1 :
Select SSID as Elite ( changed by you ?) and use the WPA key shown ( greyed )
which you have blanked in your screen shot.
Default SSID could have been AIRTEL or MNGMT

Test : confirm SSID(Elite) appears in Computer WLAN page
and you can use the key and get connected to Internet.

    Option 2 :
Select SSID2 and enter new SSID name and enter security key.
    ( Maximum 4 SSID's possible. Consider SSID1 as default )

    Option 3 :
    Firmware update later.

    Feedback.

    Feedback.
Default SSID was Airtel enabled Authentication type WPA2 Enterprise, I changed to custom name Eliet but cannot change Authentication type (greyed).

Test : confirm SSID(Elite) appears in Computer WLAN page
and you can use the key and get connected to Internet.

Result: Elite Network is visible in my Computer WLAN Page. Connection failed, Not sure what Username and Password I should give

    OPtion 2:
SSID2 :MGMNT status shows connected after entering default security key but cannot browse internet.

For AIRTEL changed to Elite try WEP key 0987654321 enter in computer page.
If failed, confirm LAN mode is working.

    Probably corrupt file.
It is very easy to suggest FW update, but want to make sure. sorry for
    the tests.

Try to delete all entries in radius server menu. SAVE. Reboot from current settings.

    Default Tm-0q-025

I cannot change to WEP Authentication type and enter the key. Authentication type box is disabled wondering if the upgrade can release the lock and select WEP authentication and give my own WEP security key.
