Default High latency and packet loss between 7am and 8am

    Plan Home 1000
    Huawei MT841

    From the modem control panel:
    Operation Mode - G.Dmt.BisPlus
    Bandwidth Up/Down(Kbit/sec) 639/6143
    SNR Up/Down 19.5 dB/28.5 dB
    Attenuation Up/Down 3.5 dB /23.0 dB

avg ping to Yahoo! India : 45ms
avg ping to Google : 700-900ms
avg ping to Ashok Deluxe Apartments : 325ms
avg ping to Product reviews and prices, software downloads, and tech news - CNET : 710ms

Torrent speeds come down to a crawl at this time, and youtube stays on buffering forever.

This usually happens early in the morning after 6 and then up to about 8-8:30am.

At other times connectivity is fine for the most part.

In addition there is moderate to heavy packet loss in the morning.

I have tried reconnecting, resetting the router and switching to opendns but the problem remains.

Is this normal for BSNL broadband and is anyone else experiencing issues like this ?
