    reply not clear.
The card you insert in MT841 is the WLAN Is TX (say transmitter/receiver)
The wireless in your laptop/desktop is the RX ( say Receiver/Transmitter)

For an unstable WIFI connection, keep the router as near as possible to your Computer.
Change the Channel to 6 or 11.
    Change Mod to GDMT.
In single computer use only LAN connection or WIFI mode.
    Not both.

    Para two:
If possible exchange or get on rent
    a new 3 in one ADSlmodem/router/WIFI
from Bsnl such as siemen's sl2_141 or WA3002-g4
or zte zxdsl 531B, or Wa3002_g1, which ever available.

    let me make it clearer....
    1> i hav a Huawei MT841 connected to a PC via lan.

2>i hav a huawei MT841 compatible wireless adapter.

3>I configured it after following various tutorials at web.

4>when i run my modem without inserting the wireless adapter, everything works fine and i am able to connect to internet on my PC.

5>when i run my modem with wireless adapter inserted, it is not able to find link and even when it does rarely, it loses it again in few minutes and never comes back until i restart my modem after ejecting the adapter.

have you tried suggestions in my earlier Post ?

When you loose connection either the modem
    adapter is intermittent/or your computer's
    lancard is intermittent.
Then click the icon and check "
    "Available wireless networks"
the icon can also have a X mark.

Post from summary page Mod selected
    snr/attn D/L U/L icons
    line speed
    net speed data.

Please check the power rating of your adapter.
Is it 230V `~ AC secondary 12V~ AC at about 1.2 Amp
or 230V`AC secondary 12V = DC at about 1.2. Amp
with additional card power requirements might have increased.
Check whether it gets too hot.

    i followed your suggestion.

but now a new problem has arised.

modem catches link only when either
1>it is connected to the computer via LAN wire and the wireless adapter is not inserted.

2>only wireless adapter is inserted and the modem is not connected to any PC via lan wire

modem doesnt catch link when both wireless adapter and lan wire is used.
