i cannot check my internet usage. whenever i type the URL 10.240.43.216 , it redirects me to india broadband forum... CAN ANY ONE PLZ SUGGEST ME WHAT TO DO?

I have 3 BSNL 700 business plan in my office, earlier I could use any one of them on any line. Of late it is not possible....As a result two of the my connections are under utilized, while one connection get over billed. Now the connection works only on the specified telephone line....Can u suggest a way, so that I can use the connections alternative on any of of the three telephone lines ???

Hey guys, does the option of password changes, viewing of usage actually works ??

Also, I have a modem of Siemens make. C2110. It has two ports. Ethernet & USB. Ethernet does not work. Not very sure why ? Logged a called, and even God doesnot know when I will get a solution to that.

Wonder how a company be such unprofessional.

my friend got same modem.first check your computer ethernet port.try connecting it to another computer using lan or if that's not possible try to connect your modem with someone else's computer/laptop & see if the PC/USB light is alright.it may be possible that problem is with your computer's lan port.

Or take the modem at some friends place and try connecting to his/her computer using the Ethernet port to make sure your computer is fine.

Is it true that all ids are port binded ... bcos .. the guy from BSNL who came to instal the modem knows my id & pwd. What if he misuse it ... I am not able to change the pwd ....

Port binding is there but not at all exchanges so I would say yes your id can be misused.
Even if your exchange has port binding.. he might be able to use your id and pass at some exchange where they dont..

Hey guys .. I have another point to ask... when ever I log in to BB, I never gets the connection in one go.

Do all of you face the same every problem ?

Without checking the usage, without changing the pwd, is there any other way to find out if my id is been hacked.

I cant open some pages like this one to change my password or check my usage, I can search anything in google but the problem is that when I click any link it says "page cant displayed" same thing happened with this IP address to change the password... please help me with this

Procedure for checking your usage record of each month.
Go to http://10.240.43.216 or 10.240.128.195. Type in your current user ID and password. Go to 'Service record and check your usage.



Please dont forget to change your passwords frequently.

when you click on any usage(billed or unbilled) you will get two options-consolidated & detailed.consolidated usage will

show your total data transfer & bill will be calculated at the rate of .90paise/mb as per plan250.since you have been given

a free usage limit of 1gb(1024mb) & bsnl site does not deduct this from total transfer so subtract this 1024mb(1048576KB)

from total transfer & then whatever remains is the extra for which you have to pay over & above Rs.250.since your bill is

already Rs.2000 it means you have already used (2000/.90)=2222.2mb which is greater than 1gb you have been given.you have to

pay Rs.250+(2222.2-1024)*.90=(250+1078)=Rs.1328

i want check my usage , but your website doesnt have the option to check the usage, it only takes persons off track

can you eloborate on what exactly you want details for. If you want to know the usage of your bsnl broadband. go to dataone.in and click on "check on account usage" and login and see your account usage.

My previous message was for this query. Not for the main thread.

My friend is using username and password of another guy his plan is 250 and username and password he using is of 500 plan. At night 2 to 8 am start downlaod from that username and password.

so my question is that if he download between 2 to 8 or any other time then who gets bill ? means bsnl bill kise denge?

bill will be given to whosever userid and password is being used.. as it will be listed in their account usage..

don't be so sure.ask your friend to check his usage for home250 plan.it may be possible that your friend may get downloading registered in his 250plan account.it is bsnl after all & they had already many such cases of account misuse so it may be possible that they are now monitoring not just logins but also traffic on a particular port(for your information every telephone line is connected to a particular port & no matter which account you use to login traffic will flow through that particular port & hence possible to check account misuse).depends on your luck too.if bsnl guys suspected something & decided to check then they will surely find out about this.
