    unable to open site.on every attemt can not find server. pl. advise how to connect this site to change password.

    hey,
    if its because you changed your password.. you have to change the password in your modem/router settings or in the computer depending on what you use to dial..If it still doesnt work.. then try to go to your friend's place or any other place which has a bsnl dataone connection...(cause portal i think is accessible only through a bsnl dataone connection)...and change the password back to original one..
    sometimes is does take some time for the new password to activate!!

    i dont get it .. how are we supposed to know your changed password?you would need to contact bsnl and have your account reset

    for new customers above sites won't work.go here--
    BSNL - Broadband Account Management

    use 14characters portal ID(different from bsnl username/password used to connect to net).this portal ID will be provided by bsnl(usually local exchange from where you get the connection).

    Hello Aarti,

    Never disclose your username/passwords on open forums, or to anyone. That should be known only to you. Also to check usage, you need a portal id and password which you can get from your own BSNL exchange. Portal Id is different from user id.

    Using your portal-id/pwd, you can not only check the usage but you can also change your BSNL password.

    i am a new broadband user. found out this very helpful forum. I would be glad if someone helps me
    in finding a site which will work for checking my broadband dataone usage details.
    I've checked all the sites namely, BSNL NIB-II PORTAL, bbservice.bsnl.in, http://10.240.128.195/ , http://10.240.43.216.

    i got my connection few days back.. but then as the modem was faulty could not use much. Then today my modem was replaced.. and now using broadband. But unable to see my account usage details. Please help.

    but this site does not open all the times & sometimes it can be down for a few hours or days.also you need a 14 characters portal ID(like ami12345678901) to check usage different from the one used to connect to net.this portal ID will be given to you by bsnl(usually local exchange people).

    Default Cannot change bsnl broad band password

    Recently i received bsnl broadband bill and i have been charged exhorbitantly, more than double. I suspect BSNL staff are misusing my account. I tried to change my password.

    I am unable to change my password of BSNL broad band connetion. none of the sites provided by BSNL are working. This is Absolutely nonsence and creating lot of inconvinience by BSNL.

    1.Mention your modem model and make.

    2. If you use a Dialer to connect to Internet No need.
    Presume you have used the new password to connect.

    3. If your Internet connection is connected
    automatically "Always On " ppp/PPPoE connection,
    your USERID and PW are entered in the WAN page of the modem , and you could have lost connection.
    ( condition 2 above is "Bridged")

    You should have the portal id )14 character) and password login with the same in bbservice.bsnl.in from there you will be able to change your passwords for both the portal id and user id.

    Please search this forum for any query before posting as most of the answers are already available. Please don't post your query in old threads such as this.

    enter BSNL Portal in your browser.
    If your location is listed in the scroll message move to the new web site and follow procedure.
    If not ( Obtain a 14digit Usage Portal ID and PW password from your exchange and log in )

    If your Ip is 117.xx.xx.xx check in BSNL Portal
    with 14digit usage portal ID and PW ( get it from BSNL CC).
    If you location is listed in selfcare portal/s : register to use new ID and PW

    If your Ip is 59.xx.xx.xx confirm.

    Delete your email address.
    If you your userid is @ bsnl.in you cannot log in here.

    If @ dataone.in Use same id and PW to log in.
