and you need a seperate portal id for that.. your bsnl id and password for connecting wont do.. heard its a 14 digit id
but my friend connection is new so he can't check his usage, now how to hlp him?
bsnl bill kise denge?
well there is a lot of confusion about that.. new users have problems checking usage!!some say the portal for new users hasn't fully been developed!!!But you will get the bill.. your usage (if extra) will be mentioned in the bill!!
we had checked usage details it shows 21mb but we had download more than 300 mb from my friends own id.
my friends id showing 21 mb usage and we download about 1.6 gb from other userid
bsnl portal updates slowly & currently it is not showing the full usage details for many users e.g.some days usage is missing.my suggestion is check both accounts(yours & friend's)& see that whatever you downloaded is showing in at least one account.best solution would be to not heavily download but just 4-5GB for now so that if something goes wrong you will not get a bill of 50000-100000 but just 4000-5000 extra.once the bill come then you can be sure whether its alright doing this.still there are no guraantees for future & you should change your plan to home500 as soon as possible.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
yes,better be careful!!you wouldn't want a hefty bill!!
as my friend use its own userid and download about 10mb it's merter reading moves to 34 mb (with surfing) so can i tell him no worry about it, as it's userid doesn't showing heavy download
my suggestion is wait for the bill.& as i said before it is risky so change plan to 500.
okkkkkkkk.
unable to open site.on every attemt can not find server. pl. advise how to connect this site to change password.
hey,
if its because you changed your password.. you have to change the password in your modem/router settings or in the computer depending on what you use to dial..If it still doesnt work.. then try to go to your friend's place or any other place which has a bsnl dataone connection...(cause portal i think is accessible only through a bsnl dataone connection)...and change the password back to original one..
sometimes is does take some time for the new password to activate!!
Dear Sir,
I have forgotten my password to open the net, if you please kind enough to e-mail me to my puri_kalia@yahoo.co.in, so I can change my password accordingly.
Hope, you will do accordingly and oblige.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Manotosh Sarkar.
N.B. My a/c with you as mono_sarka(username)
Sir,
Please treat my case as urgent because I cannot verify my a/c, because my password did not match with you. Please mail me my password to my mail box i.e., puri_kalia@yahoo.co.in or mono_sarka@dataone.in as earliest as possible and oblige.
An early confirmation and necessary action will be highly appreciated.
Thaking you,
Yours truly,

use 14characters portal ID(different from bsnl username/password used to connect to net).this portal ID will be provided by bsnl(usually local exchange from where you get the connection).
Hello Aarti,
Never disclose your username/passwords on open forums, or to anyone. That should be known only to you. Also to check usage, you need a portal id and password which you can get from your own BSNL exchange. Portal Id is different from user id.
Using your portal-id/pwd, you can not only check the usage but you can also change your BSNL password.
