Default Bsnl issue with bill and router information

    Hey
Last month i had been getting bsnl net bandwidth of close to 2 mbps though i have a 750 unlimited plan of 256 kbps , so i was really excited of all the download i can do in no time which other wise takes ages to complete....

I used to share internet with my neighbour through my wifi router before he got his own net last month... As he got his own net i disabled wifi signal from my router cause i use a desktop....
After disabling the wifi connection from my router i still enjoyed the 2 mbps bandwidth for the whole of last month and was really happy with the great download speeds in torrents.....
But recently i came to know that my neighbour got a whopping bill close to 20000 rs who had a 2 mbps plan form bsnl which has a 10 gb limit which he never used and got it cancelled immediately.......

I now 100% believe that i was some how part of my neighbours net connection without him activating wireless on his utstarcom router......

Now my question is that can i use others bsnl broadband username and password and can anyone change my router configuration settings like my bsnl username and password and save it onto my router wirelessly without actually being connected to the router physically through a lan wire ..( Is it possible to change and save router configuration being wireless )....
Because beginning of this month my net had been disconnected for a day and when i called up customer care, they redirected me to my router where i found that my username and password was different from the one i login to check my usage .....
I strongly believe that the technician typed my neighbours username and password into my wifi router along with his(neighbours)....

and also is there anyhow i can prove it to bsnl that i was surfing net through my landline using my router using my neighbours net account and save my neighbour paying up such a big bill somehow cause it was their(BSNL) mistake.....

Any help will be highly appreciated....
    I use a Utstarcom WA3002G4 router .........

Do you have in your Desktop Computer the wireless lan card. If you dont have the wireless lan card install in your computer then there is no possibility to connect with your neighbour's wireless router.
Your neighbour do his/her fault because he/she dont know how to use the limited bandwidth connection because he/she was using your UL connection before.

You where having the BSNL BB before your neighbor had it and he applied after that then i hope the technician will come to your neighbor's house to do the modem setup and will set the username and password in his modem rather than yours.

In a router only one username & password can be stored. not many as you are saying your neighbor, his neighbor...?

your story is so twisty really confusing

and also is there anyhow i can prove it to bsnl that i was surfing net through my landline using my router using my neighbours net account and save my neighbour paying up such a big bill somehow cause it was their(BSNL) mistake.....
I hope your neighbor is help less.

    thanks for replying

I do not have any wireless card installed on my desktop computer so i cannot acess my neighbours net through wifi...

But i was able to acess my neighbours Bsnl broadband 2 mbps account for 1 full month because i believe the technician who came to my neighbours house entered the username and password of my neighbours account into my router configuration which was wireless enabled at that time ........

So is this situation practically possible ??? that others Bsnl broadband username and password can be used in any router and enjoy their benefits without their knowledge???

If i can prove this then i can help my neighbour out............

Lol yeah i know in a router only one username and password can be stored , there is something called delete button , so the technician has removed my username and password and saved my neighbours bsnl broadband username and password into my router when my router was wifi enabled........

what a joke technician came to your neighbors house to do setup of his modem instead of that he searched the wifi network of your modem and deleted your username & password and saved your neighbors username & password in your router. :52:

yaa its possible if you did n't change the admin password for your modem
