Does 'No' in Night rates mean its Night Unlimited? If so, I'm happy with Speed Combo 1111.

Till now no news about affecting existing users.

Wait for 1st October, BSNL's anniversary day , official announcement may come.

Here I think No means no NU facility. This plan is FUP bound.

There is nothing to be happy about in these plans, provided this information is true.I'll stick to my 500c+.(supposedly if they do not stop night unlimited on it)

I'm talking about Speed Combo 1111. It is not an unlimited plan and so is not FUP bound.

Check the unlimited plans. If you download + upload more than 25 GB, your speed will be reduced to 256 Kbps. Airtel too has this Fair Usage Policy, your speed will decrease if you download / upload more than a particular limit.

Useless to speculate. Let it become official from BSNL and then each can take informed decisions.

Now.. now.. who is this wiseguy who says this is "Happy News" for bsnl broadband subscribers.

Looks like some photoshop user at work..maybe that is the reason this is good news 4 u.

If at all this is ture..

This is a nightmarish and absurd new plans. Instead of reducing tariffs and increasing data limit, every plan has been fucked up. No free night unlimited, practically there is no unlimited plans, even with 256 kbps speed one can download is a pitttance 8gb.

i think these plans are true.. if u go to the usage portal say http://10.240.89.199 or http://sancharnet.in/dataoneredirect.htm and click on Access Service you will see some of the new plans being introduced.

    Here they are -

BB 500 downloadspeed -Upto 2 Mbps
    Plan - HOME 500 : Speed - 256 Kbps.Modified on 29/12/2006 and provided uptp 2 Mbps

Created on 01-08-08 as per CO orders for Home Combo 299 download speed of 256 Kbps
Name chd to Combo 299 on 25-09-09 as per co
Combo 199 Download speed of 256 Kbp
Created on 01-08-08 as per CO orders for Home combo 199 download speed of 256 Kbps Name chd to Combo 199 on 25-09-09 as per co
Speed Combo 1111 download speed 2 Mbps
Created on 25-09-09 as per CO orders download speed of 2 Mbps
Combo 2799 Download speed up to 8 Mbps

Looks like the free unlimited night download plan in Home 500 have been totally being scrapped.

All the new plans rip out all the fun of broadband.

according to that post made in BSNL's usage portal itself.. i just inferred from it..

in the first instance it is posted there -

BB 500 downloadspeed -Upto 2 Mbps
    Plan - HOME 500 : Speed - 256 Kbps.Modified on 29/12/2006 and provided uptp 2 Mbps
Name chd to Combo 199 on 25-09-09 as per co
    then in another post

Combo 199 Download speed of 256 Kbp
Created on 01-08-08 as per CO orders for Home combo 199 download speed of 256 Kbps Name chd to Combo 199 on 25-09-09 as per co
so is it not that all Home 500 and HOme Combo 199 plans are being downgraded to Combo 199..

correct me if am wrong.. becasue I dont want these new fuckedup plans

Home 500 is known as BB 500 and not 199..That might be some sort of typing error by them..

You can verify it from the BSNL portal site...Check the scrolling announcement..
