Thread: Rs. 0/- bill from BSNL

Hello, friends I need your suggestion.

Yesterday, I went to the CalcuttaTelephones site and saw my telephone bill for the month of August and I was amazed to see that the bill amount was Rs 0/-.

I have not yet received the bill by letter which I usually get between 18th to 21st of the month and the due date is 30th September.

What do you all think, whats the problem

And, if I receive the bill shall I just ignore it or draw the cheque for Rs 0/-.

Please suggest

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am currently on Home 500C Plan

I did not get the bill for august yet and when i called up the automatic billing enquiry, they told me it is Rs. 3268.18....i guess there is some problem in billing servers and is better to wait until we get the bill in hand

Either it is mistake from billing section or some amount of money adjusted from previous billing.

Another BSNL joke

Last month i was billed Rs. 903 when it should have been 570.....i had to call BSNL guys 15-20 times and wait 2 weeks before they told me that they will refund 300 rupees in my next bill...so was expecting a bill of around 280-320 this month....but now the bill seems to be almost 2800 rupees extrahoping that BSNL rectify the billing errors soon and make sure that this doesn't happen next time...(if we consider geometric progression, first time wrong billing close to 300...second time close to 3000....3rd time is 30000)

Actually, this billing error is not the first time for me.

Until May end I was on Home 250 Plan and from the beginning of June my plan was changed to Home 500C.

So for the month of June, they first of all made a bill of Rs 26029/- thereafter it was reduced and corrected to just Rs 565/-.

And now for the month of August they sent me a bill with Rs 0/- payable. I hope they do not rectify this error.

me too facing the same problem a month before, It shows Double charge for my business plan 700, and I Call CC they told it is only 700, after that bill also comes with 700 only.

this shows that BSNL is being somewhat careless.
