Thread: Username and password !! (BSNL)

I saw a post on how to change the password for the BSNL broadband. But the links you've put up, when clicked show the the 'problem loading page' error. Please advise! one more thing, is the username and password to change my BSNL password the same as the one i use to log on to the internet?

Go to www.data.bsnl.in to change password. DataOne connection username/password and www.data.bsnl.in [Usage Check Portal] username/password are same by default. But you can set different passwords for each of them.

If your IP address starts with 117.xxx.xxx.xxx then you can go with the portal given by @Archer.

If your IP address start with 59.xxx.xxx.xxx then you will have to go with these portals....any one of them all are same.

For IP 117.xx.xx.xx called BSNL broadband
three sets required. ( ask your exchange for 2 and 3 )
(1) userid1 and password 1 Your choice or telephone number based.
(2) 14digit portal ID and PW default assword ID: abc12345092009
(3) email Id and password abcd @bsnl.in

For Ip 59.xx.xx.xx called DATAONE
all can be same.

My IP does begin with 117. I went to the given site and realized that i lost that portal password !! But i do have the portal ID. Is there a way to find what my password is? or can i reset my password? Thanks for all your help!! Really appreciate it.

Portal password is normally password. If you have changed the password and forgot it, call the customer care and ask for a password reset.

as said by dilip your portal id password provided by BSNL is the password.
generally the password is password

if u have changed and then forgot ur password then call customer care.trhey will solve this.
