Thread: Unable to login through my account

I am using BSNL Combo 500 plan and my modem is "UT starcom 300R2U"/
I am not able to connect the internet using my account username & password.
It displays an error saying that:
"Error 691: Access is denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain"
I am able to change my password through my portal.(bcoz i remember it quite surely)
I am also able to connect through my friend's account.

use 14digit portal ID and PW default PW.
try this short cut
use your consumer number .

691 mainly occur due to following reasom
1. if your bill is not paid then you get 691 error
2. if you use other user name and password on your line then after 3-4 days system automatically do port binding and the last username used on that line get port binded

First delete cookies and temporary files after you change the password.

If this is not helping you then,
Call Area Manager's office or your local exchange and get the password reset.
