Thread: wlan and lan probs.

hello frnd,
i have a huawei MT841 router with wireless adapter and a bsnl broadband connection. i have configured it and i am able to connect to the internet. i am not able to connect my PC(through lan) and laptop(through wifi) to the internet at the same time.

this problem only arises when i try to use LAN and WIFI at the same time. PC and laptop are connecting to internet through either only LAN or only wlan.

what shud i do?

Start RUN type cmd Ok
New window opens
type ipconfig /all
copy paste data for both LAN and wlan connection.
confirm the mode you use .
"Dialer" ( "bridged") ( userID PW in computer dialer window )
or "Always On" PPP/PPPoE (userId PW entered in WAN page of modem )

PPPoE mode solves the problem...................
