Question Unable to connect to internet

I am using BSNL Combo 500 plan and my modem is "UT starcom 300R2U"/
I am not able to connect the internet using my account username & password.
It displays an error saying that:
"Error 691: Access is denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain"
I am able to change my password through bsnl portal but cannot connect to internet.
But i am able to connect through my friend's account.

    Fine.
    Your telephone line :
    Your modem:
    Your friends UserID
    Your friends Password
You can connect to Internet .

How ? In Dialer Mode ( "Bridged" wanminiport) you enter your friend's ID and PW in a window in computer.
    or
Entered Your friend's UserID and Password in
the WAN page of Your modem ???

    Para two:
    PROBLEM
I am able to change my password through bsnl portal but cannot connect to Internet.
use default password as password and try.

Delete cookies and temporary files. Delete the dialer and create new one. Enter your id and password correctly. Try again.

So, never log-in to your account from any other location.
