Post ADSL doesn't sync because of power problem

My router boots fine. But it doesn't remain connected (to DSLAM) for a long time. When it syncs the 'LINK' lamp remains on for 1 minute then it goes off. It goes on happening for a long time. But when I use an inverter as a power source it works fine. It happen mostly during day time. It is a power problem (as it works fine on a battery source). My router is UT300R2U. Even when I use my Netgear DG834G v4 same thing happens(ADSL looses sync),but the wi-fi works properly. Even on UT300R2U the Ethernet works properly.

I was advised to buy an autotransformer to solve the issue I mentioned above. Does anyone know How much they cost and Which company product is the best one? As my router needs 12v DC which model can I go for?
