Thread: WA1003A – Wireless Router Problem with Ethernet connection

Recently I went for Type II BSNL Broadband connection. They supplied the ADSL Router which was preconfigured for my wireless access (using WEP Keys).

This is working fine for my Laptop and Mobile Phones (With WLAN facility) but I am unable to connect to internet thru my Desktop which is connected thru Ethernet port.

I am not sure what sort of settings I need to change at the router to make my connection working,

First I tried to connect to internet without dialing-in option which means, my browser should automatically detect existing network connection and make use of it. This did not work. I am not sure what kind of setting change I need to do at the Ethernet port? Any changes that I need to do in the Router settings as well?

After entering the DNS server properly I am able to connect from my laptop, mobile phone and from my desktop simultaneously.

Hope my issue has been resolved.
