| After follow the steps in setup of autodial mt841 modem,i sucessfully done,after that,some problems are happened.the net sometimes disconnecting,iam getting not much speed as i get previously.can anyone help how i can reset the modem settings to previous stage. |

Rep Power: 3 | ^ pls give these details : how often you are facing disconnections ? Did you check the network configuration settings ? which os you are using ? |

Rep Power: 3 | ^ Assuming that your configuration is correct ; it could be due to Earthing / Leaking problem in the phone cable . or the problem can be at the server of the Exchange . pls give a written complaint at the Local Exchange . and report back here with their response . they should check your phone cable and the network settings . I hope that your problem will be solved . |

| i had a similar problem in which i was facing a lot of disconnections.... the problem was due to alot of disturbance in the phone line..... |

| If you are having problem with the intermittent disconnection and slow speed and would liek to increase the speed of your modem then try the following Click Start | Settings | Control Panel, then double-click the Modems icon. Click Properties | Connection | Advanced | Extra Settings In Extra Settings type the string as AT&F1S13=64S32=34&N24 It should solve your problem. |
