Default Want Help regarding slow download speed

i have home 500c+ plan, i am getting 106 KBps download speed only. this speed does'nt change anytime. when i had bsnl broadband in the other area i used to get >230kBps.

even if i book a complaint the line man tells me that this is the correct speed for me. he tells under any conditions he cannot it is not possible to increase the speed, the speed is fixed to an area. is there any legal right (rule agains the slow speed) through which i can go against him or to speak with higher authorities.

Please help me friends its really frustrating that im getting such slow downlad speeds(less thatn half speed that i used to get before).

    kindly help me friends.

can you post the speed test results over here.

Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

is there any legal right (rule agains the slow speed) through which i can go against him or to speak with higher authorities.
For H500C+ Plan Bandwidth claimed by bsnl is 256Kbps Up to 2 Mbps, so you speed can be anything between this.

Parthasarathy89 cheak your download rate in ADSL Router. For getting 220KBps DL speed the Line rate should be 2048Kbps for Download and 256Kbps for Upload or above bouth of them.
imrock cheak your ADSL speed too
and Change your ADSL module to G.DMT
Changing the module T1 to G.DMT might be help imrock
