Go to data.bsnl.in, under my orders, enter the phone no in the prescribed format and check whether Home 750 is provisioned or not. Also check the effective date. Most likely it is set to later date and your plan change is yet to occur.

xenotech Look If you are in 117 then you will get the speed after the provisioned.
But you are in 59 so there is no open or provisioned things.

The only way you will get the up to 2Mbps when the BSNL agent reapply your Plan Home 500
You have to call the BSNL again to solve your problem.

Befoure you do this Cheak your ADSL router the Download and Upload Rates
It should be 2048Kbps for Download and 256Kbps for upload.

    Just click on this link
    http://192.168.1.1

In front page you will see the Download and Upload rates
I dont know what model of router you are using
But first try with this link
and remember to enter the user ID and password as admin when your router asking for the access.

But I think that your Line rate is OK, this problem from the Portal side.
BSNL Agent will sure help you
