Exclamation SOS: need fireware of BSNL ADSL MODEM - SL2-141
Hi

My friend have a Nokia Siemens SL2_141 Wifi ADSL Modem.

He forgot his Modem (not DataOne) password, he changed it himself, so I press the hardware RESET button.

But, I think, it also erases the firmware also.
Now when login to 192.168.1.1 it says -

Step 1: Obtain an updated software image file from your ISP.

Step 2: Enter the path to the image file location in the box below or click the "Browse" button to locate the image file.

Step 3: Click the "Update Software" button once to upload the new image file.

NOTE: The update process takes about 2 minutes to complete, and your DSL Router will reboot.

Software File Name: [BROWSE]

[Update Software]
Can someone pls give me the default firmware which I can burn it and save it.

You are getting an unusual message.
Never reported so far.

RESET again with power on for 30 seconds.
The reset access point is in the bottom right of the unit.
Use a ballpen refill to press the microswitch. ( a small round hole )
Now all settings are restored to Factory settings.
try 192.168.1.1 admin admin

SL2_141 ADSL MODEM (Type-B) MENU

Also in the main menu a cd can be downloaded. Firmware versions available there.
