Thread: How to connect to WLAN in my acer 4720z laptop?

hi i use a acer 4720z laptop with windows xp installed in it. I have correct drivers installed for WLAN. Im having a WLAN router supllied along with BSNL Broadband connection. Model no is DNA A211-I.Now i want to know how to connect to my laptop to this wlan?.I want to know what all things to be done in laptop(which all switches to be turned on), what all settings to be done in network connections in windows xp. Also is there any switch to be turned on in BSNL modem? I suppose there is no such keys and all. So mainly wht i want to know is what all things to be done in windows.?

see the steps:-
1) First open internet explorer and then type 192.168.1.1
2) At left side select wireless and then select enable wireless in the right side.
3) Save all Changes.
4) Turn Ur laptop's Wireless connectivity and Install ur WLAN driver in ur laptop.
5) U should See a wifi icon.
6) Click on it and configure it.
7) Create a new connection in Network and Sharing Center.
8) Connect and Enjoy.
