I am using BSNL 500C plan.

I am getting consistent speed of 1.8Mbps~2Mbps during day time but it drastically reduces to 500~800Kbps during night unlimited.Here is my speed:

I am badly suffering from frequent disconnection. Here is my router's stats:



Please help me to sort this out.
SNR margin on the screen is the highest that i have ever noticed

Attenuation is too high, how far is you are from the exchange? Get your line checked by BSNL.

hmm..i doubt with Attenuation.

SNR is a bit low. Attenuation is very high. Get your line checked.

I am about 3 km away from local exchange

get your line checked from bsnl leave this distance calculations else no one can help.

Actually i am busy during working hours i.e. 9am to 6pm, and not able to complaint about my connection, so what should i do?

make a call to your local exchange talk to SDE, tell your problem definitely someone will look out for it, if no one is there at home then you will have to take a leave for a day to get you work done.

make calls or visit local exchange only once.........

besides u get enough speed yaar.man i don't get 200KBps also.

Advanced Setup --- DSL

After select this ADSL mode cheak the Download Rate and Upload Rate in your Router.

ITI DNA A211-I is both modem cum router.

When the device is used in BRIDGE mode that is when we use a dialer and provide user id and password to get connected to internet at that time the device will become modem.

When the device is configured in PPPoE Mode that is always on in which the User Id and Password is stored in the device itself at that time the device behaves as a router.
