You are getting ping repply ?...but no browsing if so ,
test your DNS by pinging it ( which you entered in modem) can use (change in modem or in pc ) 61.1.96.69 and 61.1.96.71 or use open dns.

I have this Beetel 2220BX Modem which i was using previously with Airtel. But now i wanna use it with my Dataone Broadband. The Problem is When i plug in the cables and everthing in the modem. It shows limited connectivity and i am unable to login to my Modem. I am very well aware with the other steps after i login into my modem. But when i am getting limited connectivity error. How do i login to my Modem?

I have also tried resetting my modem but nothing seems to be working. Help would be seriously apprciated friends.

try entering ip address manually ..go to control panel->network connections->local area connection properties->tcp/ip properties-> and enter ip as 192.168.1.4 .. and gateway as 192.168.1.1 .. now you shouldnt see limited connectivity.. and you should be able to access your modem at 192.168.1.1

Default Beetel Modem with Beetel Splitter not working for BSNL

I have configured Airtel Beetel 220BX modem for BSNL and it is working fine. I followed the steps mentioned here. I am using the splitter provided by the BSNL. But when i change the splitter to Beetel(provided by airtel), there is no signal and the LED's are also not glowing.
I have only set up the PPPoE connection. Did I miss anything or I need to change the splitter. Please help.

    Thanks,
    Anand

Splitter may be malfunctioning. If you already have a splitter that is working, there is no reason to change it or buy a new one.

    Check rj11 cables connected properly.
"Funjin "( BSNL) splitter ports are not same.
    (reverse)
line ====>>> adsl (left) & phone ( right port )

    "beetel" Adsl splitter ( white)
UP " beetel" name left to right
adsl port ( left) LIne ( right )==>PHONE ( singleport)

Using same splitter for the past two years,
for both Airtel and Bsnl BB.
You can/should use the spare for an extension phone
in another room ( if Phone line is concealed wiring )

    @yogesh
if you really want to know how good BSNL is .. its best to ask people around you who use it .. As in some areas they have really bad server and customer support .. whereas in other areas , its really good!!
