    Post Different version

Thanks for trying to help me.

It seems it has different Software and Firmware versions than yours.

But still I tried as you suggested. But ADSL link is still down. There is no problem with the connection because I am used UltraStarcom Router before.

Please see the version information as well as my router settings.

There might be many reasons for the ADSL Link to be down.

Just try authentication AUTO , instead of CHAP.

    Para two:
    If still "NoGo"

    Click WAN
    proceed as usual.
    after finishing
    click LAN make entries.
    then

1.You should answer specifically, whether you tried
    what is suggested .

2.Can easily suggest Firmware update, but trying to
    confirm, whether it is needed.

3.Also if anything goes wrong you will have a
    modem beyond repair.

    4. what is the model /make of your Utstar modem ?

    1) As essbebe has asked, post your firmware details to see if you need to upgrade the firmware.

    2) You can call the Toll Free Number 1800 424 1600, book a complaint and wait for assistance from the authorities.

    Essbebe,

As the link given by you, It is regarding the user name lock. But in my case, please check the attachment - Authentication with the ISP is passed. That is why I kept hope that I may get link at some time. And also my username all other things are working fine with other router. So I think I don't have any problem on my ISP side.

As you sujested the MAC address problem, as per my knowledge it is the hardware address and it is unique for the device. What problem may come with that?

And yesterday you told me about the Firmware update. Can u please give some details about that? like how and when firmware updates to be done.

    Thank you.

As you suggested i made the changes. RIP is also enabled but no changes. Please see the ipconfig in the attachment.
