You are getting ping repply ?...but no browsing if so ,
test your DNS by pinging it ( which you entered in modem) can use (change in modem or in pc ) 61.1.96.69 and 61.1.96.71 or use open dns.

I have this Beetel 2220BX Modem which i was using previously with Airtel. But now i wanna use it with my Dataone Broadband. The Problem is When i plug in the cables and everthing in the modem. It shows limited connectivity and i am unable to login to my Modem. I am very well aware with the other steps after i login into my modem. But when i am getting limited connectivity error. How do i login to my Modem?

I have also tried resetting my modem but nothing seems to be working. Help would be seriously apprciated friends.

try entering ip address manually ..go to control panel->network connections->local area connection properties->tcp/ip properties-> and enter ip as 192.168.1.4 .. and gateway as 192.168.1.1 .. now you shouldnt see limited connectivity.. and you should be able to access your modem at 192.168.1.1

1. First login to your Router using default username and password

2. Click on WAN on the left side menu

3. You'll have options to add or remove configurations.

4. Please select and remove the bridge config as BSNL does not support Bridge.

5. Please click edit on the existing PPPoE Airtel Configuration

6. Set the VPI=0 and VCI=35 (for Airtel it would be 1,32) and click next

7. Select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) and encapsulation type: LLC/Snap Bridging and click next

8. Enter the following details:

PPP Username: Your bsnl username (no need to add dataone.in)

PPP Password: Your bsnl password

PPPoE Service Name: DataOne

Authentication Method: Select CHAP

Click Next

9. Check the Enable IGMP Multicast Option

Check Enable WAN Service Option

Enter the Service Name as BSNL

10. Click Next and Save. You should also save and reboot your modem.

And Lo... you can now browse through BSNL broadband!!
hello,

I have made the changes as suggested by bbkumar, my modem is showing internet light on. My test with 'Test ATM OAM F5 segment ping' and 'Test ATM OAM F5 end to end ping' fail and my browser is not connecting to any page.
I am attaching the screen for reference. Plz help.

It is OK. For BSNL Diagnostics page .
For Airtel OAM also will show pass.
You can connect to Internet now.
If any problem (see the thread earlier postings by me page 1 or 2 )
Start/ RUN type cmd type ipconfig/all post data here.
