My Dear Friends,

Presently I am Using Home 500 Combo (H500C).
I am Having 175 free Calls and 1.5GB Limit.
Though I used Under the limit 110 calls and 1432 Mb (1.4 GB), I was Charge An Amount of Rs 777. Can any one Explain me why i was charged Extra.
I am attachin a copy of my Phone Bill

Your BB Usage has been miss calculated get it rectified from Accounts Officer.

Contact AOTR of your telephone exchange.

Make a call with the accounts section and talk with them. Ask them to correct this and send a new bill.

are you from hyderabad?? I got the same issue last month and got a bill of rs. 903....this month I didn't receive my bill yet...

Just visit BSNL account department and correct your bill

BSNL at Hyderabad is really F'd up....I got a bill for Rs 903 instead of Rs 563 for the month of July...I paid the bill and went to Tarnaka office for complaint...they redirected me to Kavadiguda office and gave me a number to call....i called up the lady and told her about my erroneous bill....she asked me to give a complaint on paper or by email...so I emailed her with the details and followed up by calling her up almost daily for 2 weeks....then she told me that they will refund Rs. 319 in next month's bill....The bill was Rs. 340 more than the actual amount but I didn't have patience to argue for Rs 20....I am still waiting for August bill....I tried calling the automatic bill enquiry (1501) and it says the unbilled usage is Rs 3577.06

.....I am seriously considering shifting to Airtel

Not yet....there is another guy from Hyderabad who got the excess bill for July too and he too was told of unbilled usage of Rs. 4000 for August on the phone (1501) ...but it seems he got a proper bill (no excess amount)....I am happy to hear that and am eagerly awaiting my proper paper bill....will keep you updated

BSNL has expertised in the art of inflated bills. A few months back they suddenly realised in their dreams that they have not billed me the price of the wireless modem that I have bought even after about 6 months of using my broadband connection and so they billed it again. In reality the price of the modem had already been billed in my first bill after applying for my broadband connection and it had already been paid. I had to submit a copy of my first bill along with that of the inflated bill in the BSNL office. Later they sent me a corrected bill with my free calls capped at 169 (I have 500 Combo which gives 175 free calls) and charging me for the rest 6 calls, though to my surprise they gave me an overall discount of Rs. 100!!

So I actually want to thank BSNL for their generousity.
