Contact your telephone exchange or call @ 1800-424-1600

Contact your local exchange. They normally keep this in their records. It is a one minute business. Ask for

1. Connection User name and password
2. Portal ID and password
3. Email ID and password.

the user id can be retrieved from the modem itself if you use pppoe configuration.
if you had not changed the password given by BSNL, it would be generally"password" in lower case.

If manual connect mode, the icon that enables the modem would have the user name
as you use it daily.
Of late I find at Hyderabad, they have been incorporating the phone number into the user name.
