Cool Unable to connect to wireless BSNL BB... thru Laptop

    Hi,

Recently i've purchased a Lenovo G550 laptop with Windows Vista. I have an BSNL UL750 Broadband connection installed. We have a ADSL Type II modem in which i am already using the desktop PC with wired LAN connection. I am unable to connect to the wireless service thru Laptop. The Modem model is UTSTARCOM WA3002G4.
When tried to config the wireless connection, the SSID was detected and after providing the access key, the connection was added in "Networks and Sharing". But, it was added as "Limited connectivity".

Kindly advice on the process to troubleshoot this query.

    Hi,

I just now registered in this site. I came from Canada visiting India for a month atleast. I'm trying to connect my wireless router (Linksys WRT320N) and Vonage adapter(s) (VDV21-VD) to BSNL Modem (Sterlite Smartfax MT882), but couldn't able to (There were few error messages on the screen when I try to connect). Please find me the complete set-up instructions since I'm not technically that sound. I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

    Regards,

    Prabhakar.

    1. Presume you have connected MT882 in "Always On " PPPoE Mode
    with DHCP enabled.

    SmartAX MT-882 ADSL MODEM MENU
    http://mydataone.net/router/mt882.html
connect to computer and ensure that
    Internet is working.
    2. Now remove the Rj45 from computer end and connect to Vonage unit.
    3. you have U.S or Canada Vonage Telephone number.

    4. Switch on MT882 and Vonage Unit.
5.The LCD display will show error messages or
    6. show three icons Telephone/Monitor/Globe
with date time showing on LCD display. Check the phone
for a different dialing tone. OK ?

6a. Now connect with another RJ45 Linksys to Vonage additional port.
    7. Use the Linksys wizard to set up. "unsecured" initially
    8. Check your laptop in WIFI mode.

    9. For 24//7 Phone. MT882 and Vonage unit to be ON H24.
laptop and or desktop and Linksy's wifi router can be switched off.

    STEP 1 is important.
    Feed back.
