Looks like I am in the correct range. I used to think that 50-70 KBPS that I get is way too low. But it seems you can't go over that. I think the upload speed is 512 KbPS.
If I uncap upload in utorrent and don't download much, I generally reach 60-70 KBPS!

No need to cap your upload speed as it has nothing to with download speed.

Consider it as 2 pipes. One for Upload and Other for Download.

Try this: Finish a torrent download to 100% and now you are a 100% seeder. Next start seeding i,e uploading and dont set any caps on it. Now began your normal download from say Microsoft.com or anyother site and you will get your full download speed. Thus your download and Upload speed is like having 2 pipes and they dont interfere

I disagree with you, I set a cap of 20KBps for upload speed & I get 85KBps download speed.... when I set upload speed to unlimited, my download speed drops to 65KBps...
So generally If I don't cap my upload speed it wanders through 65-85KBps.....

1st thing..try it in torrents where you have already finished 100% download and you are a pure seeder (having 100% of file). also dont download anything else ..pause other downloads to test what i said.

now open IDM and start a download....and then see it your upload speed of torrent drops...

    try it....
