Thread: bsnl modem-zxdsl 831 aii usb driver installatiion

when i try to install the usb driver for this bsnl modem it gives an error "error loading newdev.dll" hence i tried replacing with a new newdev.dll but still the problem exists. and another message that appears is "Need administrative privilages for installing hardware drivers" eventhoug im the administrative user of my system.
Somebody please help out please!!!!!

completely uninstall all the usb drivers for this modem.
2. Now without connecting the modem download the driver to say
C:/My documents /ZTE USB drivers.
Now connect modem to Usb Port of computer.
Restart.
let windows
detect New Hardware and ask for drivers.
Possible: may be rejected as "digitally not signed by MS"
