|  Please clarify my query I would liek to know if i reinstall the operating system on my computer and i have dataone modem then where will get the drivers for the modem. Will it get installed automatically or do i need to get the drivers from somewhere? |

Rep Power: 4  | we need to know your modem make & number to respond to this query . If you are connecting modem thru ethernet then no drivers required for the modem . if connecting thru USB then the drivers are needed . |

| Well indeed im connecting it through ethernet and i am having win XP sP1 and the ether net drivers didnt load properly. I had to pick the drivers cd to install. |

| this is far too much for us to answer, there is something called Hardware Compatibility List that comes with every Win XP CD.. i would suggest to find your hardware there and if possible plz go for Win XP SP2, as Sp1 is not that great..full of bugs |
