    I am new to bsnl broadband. Now i am using Home 500C plan. I get the speed of 100-160 in torrent download and 50-60 in direct download. How can i improve my torrent and direct download.

    Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net.

    Do port forwarding for torrents. Select torrents with enough seeds.
